Sharon has been preparing taxes since 2004 and has been an Enrolled Agent since 2016. When her husband retired after 37 years in the military, they decided to move to North Carolina. She attends tax update seminars throughout the year to maintain her knowledge and currency in the latest tax laws. Sharon has a strong background in accounting, tax preparation, book keeping, and customer service. She enjoys the beach, crocheting, baking bread, and spending time with her family. |

Janet joined us during the 2019 tax season! Originally from Mt. Airy, NC (Mayberry RFD), she is a highly experienced tax preparer. She attended Appalachian State University, and also worked in the real estate industry for over 16 years. Janet is our newest enrolled agent. She attends tax law updates to stay up to date in preparing taxes. In the off season, she enjoys time with her family, going to the beach, sailing on Lake Waccamaw with her husband, and hiking. She is an enthusiastic and valued member of our team!

Krista has joined the Tax Ladies in the summer of 2022 as a seasoned preparer. She brings tax preparation experience from working at various tax preparation companies before joining the Tax Ladies. Krista is very knowledgeable in tax preparation and can answer your tax questions with the accuracy our customers demand. Krista is an energetic team player and a great overall addition to the team. She is a native of Supply, NC, and we are excited to have her on our team.
Darlene has been with the Tax Ladies since 2017. She is meticulous in preparing and reviewing tax returns and is trained in the latest tax law updates each year. Darlene served as a business administrative assistant for over fifteen years and comes to us with a solid knowledge of bookkeeping as well as tax preparation. During the off season Darlene stays busy with book keeping and payroll preparation. She is a valued member of our team here at the Tax Ladies.
Kevin brings a wealth of tax preparation experience and knowledge. Kevin has a Masters in Accounting from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Kevin is an expert in tax preparation with a wealth of accounting and tax preparation knowledge. Besides enjoying the beach life and being near family Kevin bakes his own bread. He is a life long North Carolina resident and we are glad he is on our team.
Dave has many years of experience preparing and reviewing Federal and state taxes. His recent experience was working for AARP doing federal and state income taxes. Dave came to the Tax Ladies in October 2025 and enjoys living in the area. Dave stays up to date by attending tax seminars to stay current with the latest tax laws and changes. Dave is looking forward to helping you with your taxes.
Kimberly joined to the Tax Ladies in 2024. She is also a Realtor as well as an excellent Tax Preparer. Kim has years of experience working in the tax industry and stays current by attending tax preparation seminars along with helping family and friends with their taxes. Kim is looking forward to helping you with your taxes. Her favorite Disney character is Pocahontas.
Deborah graduated from Pace University of White Plains, NY, with a degrees in accounting and real estate. She has further enhanced her qualifications with specialized tax preparation courses leading to her role as on of the Tax Ladies. She specializes in the review of tax returns ensuring the accuracy and quality of your tax returns. Deborah and her husband reside in Calabash, NC where they enjoy the regions rich fishing culture and pristine beaches.
Rich is a retired CPA from New Jersey. He has been preparing tax returns since 1988. Rich came out of retirement to keep busy and to stay abreast of current U.S. Tax Law. Rich and his wife moved to Sunset Beach, NC in 2023 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. They enjoy the beach, boating, and Rich tries his best at being good at golf. We are excited to have Rich on our team at the Tax Ladies.
